Driver Dies in Highway 138 Traffic Collision [Llano, CA]

Llano, CA (November 6, 2023) – A man was killed following a Highway 138 traffic collision Wednesday afternoon.

The fatal 2-vehicle collision happened at about 4:07 p.m. on eastbound Highway 138 at 155th Street E.

According to the investigators, the driver of a tan Toyota Camry pulled over onto the shoulder to replace a flat tire. However, the driver of a black Cadillac Escalade SUV veered to the right and struck the Toyota driver and his vehicle.

Unfortunately, the Toyota driver died at the scene.

The accident report noted that the Cadillac driver was driving with a suspended license. 

CHP is still investigating the fatal collision.
