Driver Dies if Fiery Big Rig Wreck on Interstate 17 [Phoenix, AZ]

Phoenix, AZ (May 21, 2022) On Friday, a fatality was reported in a fiery big rig wreck on Interstate 17.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) say that the fatal collision between 2 big rigs happened near Deer Valley Road at around 4 a.m.

Moreover, the crash closed the northbound lanes of the freeway. The freeway was reopened at around noon that same day.

The DPS say that a driver of one of the big rigs sustained fatal injuries.

Authorities are still investigating the incident and have not released additional information about the crash.
