Driver Dies in 68th Avenue 2-Vehicle Collision [Phoenix, AZ]

Phoenix, AZ (October 2, 2023) – A male driver was killed following a 68th Avenue 2-vehicle collision Friday night.

Police said the vehicles collided at about 9:30 p.m. near the intersection with Thomas Road.

Detectives said the male driver was attempting to turn left from Thomas Road when a westbound female driver crashed into his vehicle. 

Responding officers located the victim with life-threatening injuries. He unfortunately died at the scene.

Officers said the woman remained at the scene and didn’t show signs of impairment.

The authorities are still investigating this fatal incident.
