Driver Dies in 2-Vehicle T-Bone Crash on Highway 6 near Chilvers Road [Chehalis, WA]

1 Killed in Chehalis T-Bone Crash on Highway 6

CHEHALIS, WA (December 10, 2018) – A driver was killed in a two-vehicle T-bone crash on Highway 6 Saturday evening, December 1.

According to the Lewis County Fire District 6, the incident occurred near Chilvers Road, west of Chehalis, and involved a sedan and a pickup truck.

When crews from Fire District 6 reached the scene, they found the sedan with major damage to the driver’s side while the pickup truck was resting on its passenger side.

The lone occupant of the sedan was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the pickup declined medical treatment.

Due to the crash, Highway 6 was closed for nearly three hours to give way to the clearing operations and investigation.

The cause and events leading to the crash are being investigated by the Washington State Patrol.
