Driver Fatally Injured in Northridge Hit-and-Run Crash on Balboa Boulevard

 
NORTHRIDGE, CA (October 21, 2019) — A driver sustained fatal injuries in a hit-and-run accident on Balboa Boulevard on Sunday, October 20.
 
The crash happened at around 5:30 a.m. on Balboa Boulevard and Lassen Street.
 
The victim’s gray Nissan was T-boned by a white Ford 1-50 that ran a red light. Reports described the Nissan driver as a woman in her 50s. She died at the scene.
 
According to the police, the woman that drove the truck left her vehicle and fled on foot. She is still at large. There is no available description for the pickup driver.
 
Police urge witnesses of the incident to come forward.
