1 Killed in Salinas Auto Accident on Crazy Horse Canyon Road
SALINAS, CA (September 16, 2021) – Early Monday morning, a 43-year-old driver died in a head-on crash on Crazy Horse Canyon Road.
The preliminary investigation revealed that the crash occurred after a Nissan driver tried to pass a Peterbilt truck. Moreover, the incident occurred on Crazy Horse Canyon Road.
Then, the Nissan collided with a 2005 Toyota Sienna head-on. The crash pushed the Nissan to hit the side of the Peterbilt’s first trailer.
Moreover, responders took the Toyota driver to the hospital. However, he later succumbed to his injuries.
Meanwhile, the four Nissan occupants sustained major injuries. Thus, responders took them to the hospital.
At this time, the authorities do not believe that drugs and/or alcohol played a role in the crash.
