CAJON PASS, CA (November 20, 2022) – Early Saturday morning, a driver died in a wrong-way crash on Interstate 15 near Highway 138.
 
The incident happened at around 1:13 a.m. Interstate 15 near Highway 138.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a northbound gray type sedan travelling in the southbound lanes collided head-on with a van. Also, authorities said that a total of four vehicles were involved in the crash.
 
Moreover, responders confirmed that the van driver succumbed to injuries and was later pronounced dead. Then, paramedics transported several occupants of the van to a hospital with unknown injuries.
 
Furthermore, the collision blocked all southbound lanes of Interstate Interstate 15 between Highway 138 and Oak Hill Road exit.
 
Meanwhile, the fatal crash is under active investigation.
