INDIO, CA (March 10, 2022) – Tuesday night, a driver died in a pickup truck crash on Interstate 10 near Monroe Street.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at around 11:40 p.m. Moreover, it occurred on Interstate 10, west of Monroe Street.
 
Reports revealed that a black pickup truck traveled in an unsafe manner. Then, it rear-ended a parked semi-truck. Moreover, the force of the crash pushed the pickup underneath the semi.
 
Also, responders pronounced the pickup driver dead at the scene. Meanwhile, officers confirmed that the driver sustained injuries in the crash along with a passenger with a broken arm.
