LONE PINE, CA (February 21, 2022) – Saturday night, a driver died following a two-vehicle crash on Gill Station Coso Road and US Route 395.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at around 7:24 p.m. Moreover, it occurred on Gill Station Coso Road and US Route 395.
 
Reports revealed that a 2014 Peterbilt tractor-trailer struck a westbound 2016 BMW that ran a stop sign.
 
Moreover, responders pronounced the 28-year-old BMW driver dead at the scene. Then, paramedics transported a 24-year-old passenger of the BMW to Antelope Valley Hospital with major injuries.
 
Furthermore, authorities said that the 60-year-old Peterbilt driver sustained no injuries in the crash.
 
Meanwhile, the incident remains under investigation.
