1 Arrested in Shelton Crash on East Wallace Kneeland Boulevard
SHELTON, WA (December 21. 2020) – Wednesday morning, authorities arrested a driver after a hit-and-run accident on East Wallace Kneeland Boulevard.
According to authorities, at around 8:00 a.m., officers responded to a report of an SUV ramming vehicles. Moreover, this incident happened at a Walmart on 301 East Wallace Kneeland Boulevard.
Shelton Police and a Mason County deputy attempted to stop the vehicle, but the 63-year-old driver declined to stop.
Officers managed to pin the vehicle in a ditch using two police vehicles. However, the driver still refused to exit the SUV even after the stop.
Afterward, authorities finally pulled the driver from the vehicle by dragging him from the passenger window.
Furthermore, the 63-year-old Skokomish resident will be facing malicious mischief, hit and run, eluding, and DUI charges.
