2 Drivers Injured in DUI Crash on Walnut Boulevard Near Eureka Avenue

 
Brentwood, CA (April 19, 2021) – Police arrested a driver following a DUI crash on Walnut Boulevard on Friday night.
 
The incident happened on April 16 on Walnut Boulevard near the Eureka Avenue just after 10 p.m.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash involved at least two vehicles including a Honda Civic and a GMC Yukon. Both drivers of the vehicles sustained injuries from the collision.
 
Medics transported the female Honda driver to Sutter Delta Medical Center in Antioch with moderate injuries. Furthermore, they also transported the male Yukon driver to the same medical center however, the severity of his injuries was unknown.
 
CHP spokesperson confirmed that they arrested the male Yukon driver for charges including DUI.
 
Moreover, the extent of the incident left both vehicles with moderate damages.
 
The investigation remains ongoing.
