Hit-and-Run Crash on Lone Tree Way and Muirwood Drive

 
Antioch, CA (February 12, 2021) – Police arrested a driver for fleeing after a crash on Lone Tree Way and Muirwood Drive on Saturday morning.
 
The incident took place on February 6 at around 9:30 a.m. on Lone Tree Way and Muirwood Drive.
 
According to a report, there were two vehicles involved in the collision. One witness reported that one of the vehicles, a gray Buick continued driving away from the scene before running a red light.
 
The witness reported that the Buick continued driving down Lone Tree Way for over two miles with its airbags deployed. Furthermore, the police were able to locate the suspect after the witness provided a description and license plate of the vehicle.
 
Later, it was found out that the suspect had no license and insurance.
 
Police said that there were no reported injuries from the collision. Moreover, the driver was given a court date and the officers took the vehicle to impoundment.
