Vehicle Overturned Following Crash on Interstate 5 Near Hasley Canyon Road
Castaic, CA (August 15, 2021) – A two-vehicle crash on Hasley Canyon Road left a driver arrested on Saturday morning.
The collision happened on August 14 on Interstate 5 near Hasley Canyon Road at about 8:33 a.m. The California Highway Patrol received reports of a collision involving a black vehicle that overturned on the center divider.
CHP officer Peter Nicholson of the CHP Traffic Management Office said that a BMW may have passed on the right side of a big rig. However, Nicholson said it is unclear if the BMW contacted the big rig.
Furthermore, police arrested one driver but as of 9:40 p.m., the charges made were unknown.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department also responded to the scene but immediately left when there were no confirmed life-threatening injuries.
