Driver and Passenger Killed in Pine Street Collision [Seattle, WA]

Seattle 2-Car Crash Results Fatality

Seattle, WA (October 13, 2024) –  A 23-year-old male driver and his 24-year-old male passenger were killed in a Pine Street collision early Friday morning.

Seattle Police responded before 1 a.m. to the two-car crash at the intersection with 4th Avenue.

Investigators said a black SUV was speeding west along Pine Street and ran a red light at 4th Avenue. 

As a result, the SUV crashed into a white sedan and ran into the street pole, according to the Seattle Police Department.

The SUV was wrapped around the utility pole killing the driver and the passenger at the scene. 

The white sedan’s driver and passenger were not hurt. 

Meanwhile, the authorities are still investigating how fast the driver was going when the Pine Street collision.
