Driver Airlifted in SUV-Bus Collision on Sage Road [Riverside, CA]

Riverside, CA (June 17, 2022) – On Thursday, two people sustained injuries in an SUV-bus collision on Sage Road.

It was about 6 a.m. when the two-vehicle crash happened in the area of Wilson Valley Road, north of Highway 79.

The Riverside County Fire Department immediately responded and located the SUV driver and another party injured. The rescuers did not provide their identities.

Immediately, a helicopter arrived and airlifted the SUV driver to Inland Valley Medical Center in Wildomar with a broken right leg and other injuries.

Meanwhile, the second victim sustained minor injuries and refused to be transported to a hospital.

Officers are still investigating the Riverside two-vehicle collision.
