1 Injured in Fresno Auto Accident on Highway 41 and Mount Whitney Avenue
FRESNO, CA (February 21, 2021) – Saturday morning, authorities airlifted a driver after a head-on crash on Highway 41 and Mount Whitney Avenue.
The incident involving a white Ford truck and a Buick occurred at about 3:30 a.m. The head-on collision happened on Highway 41 at Mount Whitney Avenue.
Meanwhile, the investigators revealed that the Ford driver probably fell asleep. Then, he steered into oncoming traffic, leading to the crash.
As a result, the Buick driver was flown to a nearby hospital with major injuries. Meanwhile, the Ford driver was uninjured in the collision.
At this time, the authorities haven’t released any updates on the Buick driver’s condition.
Also, the authorities do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
