Driver Airlifted after Multi-Vehicle Crash on Highway 12 and Kirkland Ranch Road [Napa County, CA]

Injuries Reported in Napa County Accident on Highway 12 and Kirkland Ranch Road

 
NAPA COUNTY, CA (October 26, 2021) – Monday afternoon, a driver suffered injuries in a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 12 and Kirkland Ranch Road.
 
The authorities received a report of the incident at around 3:32 p.m. on Highway 12 and Kirkland Ranch Road. Moreover, the authorities confirmed that the crash involved a recreational vehicle and four cars.
 
According to reports, a Ford sport-utility vehicle driver turned from south Kirkland Ranch Road to Highway 12. However, the RV, also driving east, broadsided the SUV, said CHP Sgt. William (Brad) Bradshaw.
 
As a result, responders airlifted the Ford driver to Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center. Meanwhile, an ambulance took two other people to the Queen. At this time, their conditions remain unknown.
 
Also, the authorities haven’t disclosed how the other three vehicles played a role in the crash.
 
Bradshaw added that the RV driver didn’t yield at the Jameson Ranch-Kirkland Ranch crossing. Also, he noted that a power outage occurred Sunday night during a major Northern California rainstorm that knocked out the stoplights.
 
Furthermore, the crash shut down the eastbound Jameson Canyon Road.
 
By 5:40 p.m., the road fully reopened.
