Child Critical after Solo Vehicle Crash on State Route 65 in Rocklin
Rocklin, CA (December 8, 2022) – Thursday afternoon, a 43-year-old man from Rocklin and a 3-year-old boy, sustained severe injuries in a solo vehicle crash on State Route 65.
The solo vehicle crash in Rocklin happened just after 3:30 p.m. on December 8.
CHP said the initial investigation shows the driver exited State Route 65 onto Sunset Boulevard and took too fast off-ramp.
The vehicle then overturned multiple times in a dirt area just off the side of the roadway.
The child and the driver had to be extricated from the vehicle and taken to Sutter Roseville.
Moreover, the child was in a car seat in the back seat.
No other vehicle is involved in the crash.
Further investigation into this crash is ongoing.
