Alonzo Nicolas-Martin Arrested in Shelton Hit-and-Run Crash
Shelton, CA (July 17, 2022) – On Saturday, Dorothy Glover, 91, of Hoodsport, died, while the authorities arrested Alonzo Nicolas-Martin, 25, of Shelton, in a DUI crash on Highway 101.
The fatal collision took place at 7:30 p.m. north of the Port of Shelton.
According to the investigators, Dorothy Glover was a passenger in a car with three others, traveling northbound on the freeway.
At the same time, Alonzo Nicolas-Martin was southbound. Reports say he crossed the center line and collided head-on with the other vehicle.
Sadly, Dorothy Glover lost her life at the crash scene.
The paramedics airlifted a 62-year-old woman to Harborview Medical Center and took two men in the vehicle to local hospitals.
Reports say Alonzo Nicolas-Martin fled upon the arrival of the authorities but they caught him.
The authorities arrested Alonzo Nicolas-Martin with possible charges of vehicular homicide, vehicular assault, felony hit-and-run, and DUI.
