Donna Jo Czechan Dead in Bakersfield Pedestrian Crash on South Union Avenue
BAKERSFIELD, CA (October 3, 2021) – Saturday night, Donna Jo Czechan, 56, died in a pedestrian accident on Union Avenue and Pacheco Road.
The fatal accident occurred just after 10:50 p.m. on South Union Avenue, south of Pacheco Road.
According to reports, a dark-colored sedan headed north on South Union Avenue as it left the scene. Meanwhile, the authorities declared the pedestrian dead at the scene. Later reports said the vehicle involved fled the scene.
The authorities continue to investigate the fatal hit and run crash.
