Donald Ferguson of Rio Dell Dies in US 101 Bicycle Crash [Humboldt, CA]

Humboldt, CA (October 27, 2022) – On October 23, 51-year-old Donald Ferguson of Rio Dell sustained fatal injuries in a US 101 bicycle crash.

The traffic accident took place at about 7:42 p.m., south of Herrick Avenue offramp.

According to the authorities, 29-year-old Colton Daniels of Eureka was driving a 2015 Chevrolet pickup  truck when he collided with Donald Ferguson who was riding a bike.

Sadly, Donald Ferguson lost his life in the accident.

The authorities say Colton Daniels did not show signs of impairment during the collision.

Officers are investigating the accident south of Herrick Avenue Offramp.
