1 Dead in Moses Lake Bicycle Accident on Dorothy Street and Moon Drive

 
MOSES LAKE, WA (August 10, 2022) – Monday morning, Don Palmen died in a dirt bike crash on Dorothy Street and Moon Drive.
 
The incident occurred just after 8:30 a.m. on Dorothy Street and Moon Drive Northeast. According to reports, the crash involved a dirt bike and an SUV.
 
According to reports, Lily Knowles drove a Ford Escape east on Dorothy Street. As she entered the intersection at Moon Drive, Don Palmen in his dirt bike failed to yield at a stop sign. Then, the bike crashed with the SUV.
 
Responders airlifted Don Palmen to Central Washington Hospital and later transported him to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. However, he later succumbed to his injuries.
 
Meanwhile, Lily Knowles and her passenger suffered no injuries in the crash.
 
The Grant County Sheriff’s Office Motor Traffic Unit handles the crash investigation.
