Dominic Muzsnai Identified as Pedestrian Killed in Northridge Metrolink Train Accident
Northridge, CA (UPDATE)– On Thursday, 64-year-old Dominic Muzsnai died in a train accident on Lindley Avenue.
Moreover, the tragic incident happened on July 30 at about 6:40 a.m.
A Metrolink train with passengers going from Ventura County to downtown Los Angeles was involved in the incident.
According to the Metrolink and the Los Angeles Police Department, the VC Line 102 train struck the pedestrian near the 8600 block of Lindley Avenue. Due to the impact of the crash, the pedestrian died.
Furthermore, it is still unclear why the Northridge resident was on the tracks.
The fatal incident prompted the closure of the tracks between Northridge and Van Nuys as the investigation is being conducted.
Additionally, the passengers in the VC Line 102 train were provided with bus transportation.
