1 Killed in Porterville DUI Accident on Road 236 near Avenue 112
PORTERVILLE, CA (September 23, 2021) – Wednesday morning, authorities arrested Dominic AnayaCasarez after a deadly crash on Road 236.
According to authorities, the incident happened at around 2:30 a.m. on Road 236, south of Avenue 112.
Reports revealed that a northbound 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt veered towards the left lane. Then, it collided with a southbound 2006 Harley Davidson.
Furthermore, the Chevrolet driver, 23-year-old Dominic AnayaCasarez, fled the scene on foot after the collision. Afterward, CHP managed to locate the suspect about a half-mile away from the crash scene.
Meanwhile, responders transported the 57-year-old man driving the motorcycle to Kaweah Delta Medical Center. However, he later succumbed to his injuries.
Moreover, officers arrested AnayaCasarez for DUI and hit-and-run.
