Costa Mesa, CA (February 17, 2024) – 61-year-old Dolores Pliego of Costa Mesa was killed following an Adams Avenue accident Friday morning.

It was past 6 a.m. when Pilego was fatally hit on Pinecreek Drive.

The driver involved in the accident remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. 

Troopers are investigating the cause of the accident and do not consider speed as a factor. No arrests have been made.
