Mobile Home Explosion in Dixon Kills Two People and Injures Two Others
DIXON, CA (March 19, 2019) – Two people were killed and another two were injured following a mobile home fire early Tuesday morning in Dixon.
Around 4:30 a.m., authorities received a call of an explosion at a mobile home park on South 1st Street at Dixon May Fair fairgrounds.
Responding fire crews found two bodies inside the mobile home after the flames were extinguished.
Two other people were found injured and transported to Kaiser Permanente Vacaville Medical Center with 2nd and 3rd degree burns.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time but investigators say it appears to have started in front of the mobile home.
