DIXON, CA – 2 Injured in 3-Vehicle Crash on 80 Freeway at North 1st Street

Evening 3-Vehicle Wreck on 80 Freeway in Dixon Leaves Two People Injured

 
DIXON, CA (February 18, 2019) – Two people were injured following a three-vehicle crash Monday evening in Dixon.
 
The crash happened around 8:08 p.m. on eastbound 80 Freeway at North 1st Street off-ramp.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a silver SUV, a dark-colored SUV and a third vehicle collided, causing one of them to overturn on its roof.
 
Firefighters responded to the scene and located the overturned car in middle lanes. Two injured patients were found in the crash, one with a broken arm while the other sustained a head injury.
 
The patients were then transported by paramedics to a hospital for proper treatment.
 
There were no official reports stating what caused the crash or how it exactly transpired. Authorities are looking further into the accident to determine the factors involved and liability.
