Divaldo Deleonaguilar Arrested in Violent Traffic Crash on Anza Way [Pacifica, CA]

Pacifica, CA (May 14, 2024) On Saturday afternoon, 33-year-old Divaldo Deleonaguilar was arrested after a horrific crash on Anza Way that injured a 2-year-old child.

According to the Pacifica Police Department (PPD), the hit-and-run crash happened on Anza Way and De Solo Drive at about 3:12 p.m.

Reports say that Deleonaguilar was fleeing another crash that happened on Highway 1 near Crespi Drive when his vehicle crashed into a parked vehicle. Officials say that Deleonaguilar ran a red light before to the 2nd crash.

Authorities say that Deleonaguilar and the child sustained minor injuries due to the crash, Deleonaguilar was treated at a hospital, while the child was released to a family member.

Police subsequently arrested Deleonaguilar for felony child endangerment, hit and run, and reckless driving.

PPD is investigating the horrific crash.
