1 Person Hurt in San Antonio Auto Accident on E Commerce Street and S St Mary’s Street

SAN ANTONIO, TX (December 4, 2023) – Sunday morning, a disastrous vehicle crash on E Commerce Street and S St Mary’s Street injured one person.

The incident happened at around 11:00 a.m. near the intersection of East Commerce Street and S St Mary’s Street.

According to the San Antonio Police Department, an eastbound vehicle struck a San Antonio Police Department bike officer. Also, the driver of the vehicle told the police that he was following his wife in another car and did not see the officer in the crosswalk while making a turn.

As a result, responders transported the officer to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Moreover, officers confirmed that no criminal charges were pending at this time.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the San Antonio Police Department continued to investigate the crash.
