1 Person Hospitalized in Fresno Auto Accident on Belmont and Glenn Avenue
FRESNO, CA (February 26, 2024) – Sunday night, a disastrous vehicle crash on Belmont and Glenn Avenue injures one person.
The incident happened at around 7:45 p.m. on Belmont and Glenn Avenue.
According to the Fresno Police Department, a stolen Kia being chased by authorities fled at a high rate of speed and attempted to turn into a nearby alley but collided with a fence. Then, the 13-year-old male driver of the vehicle ran down the alley to flee but was quickly apprehended.
Moreover, authorities confirmed that a man and woman who were on the other side of the fence complained of pain, but only the man was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Furthermore, officers arrested the driver of the vehicle and his 13-year-old female passenger for auto theft and hit and run.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
Due to limited information, the Fresno Police Department continued to investigate the crash.
