PHOENIX, AZ (October 1, 2024) – Sunday morning, a disastrous vehicle crash on 27th Avenue and Joy Ranch Road injured two people.

Reports said that the incident happened around 1:45 a.m. on 27th Avenue and Joy Ranch Road, near Interstate 17.

According to the Phoenix Police, a vehicle struck a horse for unknown reasons.

Paramedics transported two occupants of the vehicle to a hospital, both with serious injuries. Also, authorities confirmed that the horse died in the crash.
