1 Person Hurt in Warsaw Auto Accident on US 65 near Lake of the Ozarks

WARSAW, MO (September 29, 2024) – Friday night, a disastrous two-vehicle crash on US 65 near Lake of the Ozarks injured one person.

The incident happened at around 9:45 p.m. on US 65, northeast of the Lake of the Ozarks.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a tow truck collided with a Buick Enclave that was attempting to make a turn from northbound US 65 onto westbound Highway T.

Moreover, responders airlifted the 58-year-old female driver of the Buick to a hospital in Columbia with serious injuries.

Furthermore, authorities confirmed that the 43-year-old male driver of the tow truck was not hurt in the incident.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
