1 Person Hurt in Apache Junction Auto Accident on US 60 near Meridian Road
APACHE JUNCTION, AZ (October 30, 2024) – Monday afternoon, a disastrous two-vehicle crash on US 60 near Meridian Road injured one person.
The incident happened at around 1:00 p.m. on US 60 near Meridian Road.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, a westbound pickup hauling a trailer with pipes jack-knifed and swung the trailer across the median, where the trailer collided with an eastbound car.
Moreover, responders rushed the driver of the car to a hospital with critical injuries.
Furthermore, the crash closed lanes of eastbound US 60 but has long since reopened.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
Due to limited information, the DPS continued to investigate the crash.
