TYLER, TX (July 18, 2023) – Monday afternoon, a disastrous two-vehicle crash on S Broadway Avenue near Lake Street injured 3 people.

The incident happened at around 12:30 p.m. in the 1100 block of S Broadway Avenue near the intersection with Lake Street.

According to Public Information Officer Andy Erbaugh, two unidentified vehicles collided for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, responders rushed three people to a hospital with critical injuries.

Furthermore, the crash blocked the southbound lanes and one northbound lane of Broadway Avenue from Lindsay Lane to Lake Street but has long since reopened.

At this time, the cause of the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
