2 People Hurt in Johnson County Auto Accident on Route 58 near 1081 Street

JOHNSON COUNTY, MO (November 27, 2024) – Saturday afternoon, a disastrous two-vehicle crash on Route 58 near 1081 Street injured two people.

The incident happened on eastbound Route 58, west of 1081 Street.

According to reports, an eastbound vehicle swerved into the westbound lanes and collided with a stopped vehicle.

Moreover, responders transported the 17-year-old driver of the eastbound vehicle and the 49-year-old male driver of the stopped vehicle to a hospital, both with moderate injuries.

The events leading to the crash remain unclear at this time. The public will be notified when additional information becomes available.

Due to limited information, the authorities continued investigating the crash.
