2 People Hospitalized in Houston Auto Accident on North Freeway near Deer Trail Drive

HOUSTON, TX (March 5, 2024) – Sunday night, a disastrous two-vehicle crash on North Freeway near Deer Trail Drive injured two people.

The incident started at around 8:00 p.m. when an Uber Toyota van collided with a Ford F-350 for still unknown reasons.

According to reports, the Ford truck fled the scene after the collision and was followed by the Toyota van. Then, the Ford pickup attempted a U-turn at West Road and struck a curb and one of the columns while the Toyota van also attempted a U-turn and struck a light control box.

Moreover, responders transported a 3-year-old passenger of the Van to a hospital with critical injuries. Also, a male occupant of the van was taken to a hospital in stable condition.

Furthermore, officers arrested the driver of both vehicles for investigation.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
