2 People Hurt in Newhall Traffic Accident on Lyons Avenue and Wiley Canyon Road

NEWHALL, CA (August 14, 2023) – Saturday night, a disastrous two-vehicle crash on Lyons Avenue and Wiley Canyon Road injured two people.

The incident happened at around 8:50 p.m. at the intersection of Lyons Avenue and Wiley Canyon Road.

According to Los Angeles County Fire Department Dispatcher Melanie Flores, two unidentified vehicles collided for still unknown reasons. Then, one of the vehicles crashed into a wall after the collision.

Moreover, responders transported two people to a hospital with unknown injuries.

Furthermore, the crash blocked multiple lanes of Wiley Canyon Road, but has long since reopened.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station continued to investigate the crash.
