4 People Hurt in Canon Pass Auto Accident on Interstate 5 near Kenwood Avenue

CANON PASS, CA (March 4, 2024) – Tuesday morning, a disastrous two-vehicle crash on Interstate 5 near Kenwood Avenue injured four people.

The incident happened at around 7:07 a.m. on Interstate 5, a mile after the Kenwood Avenue exit.

According to the California, a red pickup truck veered off the right shoulder for still unknown reasons and struck a white Chevrolet HHR SUV that was pulling a small trailer.

Moreover, responders transported one person to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Also, three people sustained minor injuries in the crash.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the CHP continued to investigate the crash.
