The incident happened at around 7:00 a.m. on Interstate 44 near Sugar Tree Road.

According to reports, the crash involved a tractor-trailer and a van.

Moreover, firefighters extricated one person trapped inside the van. Then, paramedics transported multiple patients to hospitals with unknown injuries.
