4 People Hurt in Santa Maria Auto Accident on Highway 1 near Clark Avenue

SANTA MARIA, CA (September 5, 2023) – Sunday afternoon, a disastrous two-vehicle crash on Highway 1 near Clark Avenue injured four people.

The incident happened at around 5:00 p.m. on Highway 1, west of Clark Avenue.

According to fire Capt. Scott Safechuck, two unidentified vehicles collided for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, responders transported two female occupants of the first car, a woman and a female juvenile in a second car to Marian Regional Medical Center with moderate injuries.

At this time, the cause of the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the CHP continued to investigate the crash.
