PHOENIX, AZ (January 18, 2024) – Wednesday afternoon, a disastrous two-vehicle crash on Agua Fria Freeway near Indian School Road injured five people.

The incident happened at around 3:30 p.m. on Agua Fria Freeway near Indian School Road.

According to the DPS, two unidentified vehicles collided in the area for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, five people sustained injuries in the crash, including a 40-year-old man with critical injuries and a 61-year-old woman with less severe injuries.

Furthermore, the crash closed a section of Loop 101 temporarily and has long since reopened.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the DPS continued to investigate the crash.
