SUMNER, WA (February 18, 2024) – Friday morning, a disastrous two-car crash on Stewart Road E and 142nd Avenue E injured 2 people.

The incident happened at 10:23 a.m. at the intersection of Stewart Road East and 142nd Avenue East at the bottom of Lakeland Hills.

Officers urged drivers to find alternate routes. At 10:41 a.m., tow trucks were on the scene.

After the crash, responders took both drivers of the vehicles to the hospital with injuries. However, the severity of their injuries remained unknown.

Also, the roadway is now back open.
