4 People Hospitalized in Oxnard Auto Accident on Saviers Road near East Iris Street

OXNARD, CA (September 24, 2023) – Saturday morning, a disastrous traffic crash on Saviers Road near East Iris Street injured four people.

Reports revealed that the incident happened at around 11:45 a.m. on Saviers Road near East Iris Street.

According to Oxnard Police Department Cmdr. Dan Whitmer, a southbound dark-colored Ford Mustang struck a northbound vehicle that made a left turn in front of the Mustang.

Moreover, firefighters rushed to the scene and extricated three people who were trapped inside the wreckage. Then, paramedics transported two people to St. John’s Regional Medical Center and two patients to Ventura County Medical Center, with no serious injuries.

Furthermore, officers do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
