SHASTA COUNTY, CA (October 17, 2023) – Monday morning, a disastrous traffic crash on Highway 44 East near Shingletown injured three people.

The incident happened at around 2:00 a.m. on Highway 44 East near Shingletown.

According to the California Highway Patrol, two vehicles collided in the area for still unknown reasons. Also, authorities reported that the incident started a fire.

Moreover, officers confirmed that three people sustained unknown injuries in the incident.

Furthermore, the crash closed Highway 144, but has long since reopened.
