Disastrous Traffic Crash on Highway 151 Injures Teen [San Antonio, TX]

San Antonio, TX (October 29, 2024) On Saturday evening, a teen motorcycle rider was hurt after a traffic crash on Highway 151.

According to SAPD, the horrific crash happened at around 10:08 p.m. at the intersection with West Loop 1604.

Reports say that a 17-year-old motorcyclist sustained life-threatening injuries in a crash, after a driver turned left in front of him at the intersection of Highway 151 and West Loop 1604

Officials say that the teen was riding a silver 2023 Aprilia motorcycle southeast on Highway 151 when the driver of a silver 2021 Nissan Murano, traveling northwest, made a left turn into his path.

The motorcyclist collided with the passenger side of the Nissan and was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Authorities say that the Nissan driver remained at the scene, cooperated with the police, and was evaluated for intoxication but was found not to be under the influence. Authorities have not filed any charges as the investigation continues.
