SACRAMENTO, CA (June 8, 2023) – Wednesday afternoon, a disastrous traffic crash on Barandas Drive and Sweet Maple Way killed one person.

The incident happened at around 2:20 p.m. on Barandas Drive and Sweet Maple Way.

According to the Sacramento Police Department, a vehicle lost control for still unknown reasons and collided with a tree.

Moreover, responders pronounced one person dead at the scene. Then, paramedics transported four people to a hospital with serious injuries.
