5 People Hurt in Corona Vehicle Crash on 91 Freeway near Serfas Club Drive
CORONA, CA (August 9, 2023) – Tuesday morning, a disastrous traffic accident on 91 Freeway near Serfas Club Drive injured five people.
The incident happened at around 11:50 a.m. on the westbound Riverside (91) Freeway, near Serfas Club Drive.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident involved three vehicles.
Moreover, firefighters rushed to the scene and extricated three people trapped inside the wreckage. Then, paramedics transported three people with major injuries and two people with moderate injuries to a hospital for treatment.
Furthermore, the crash closed both fast-track lanes and three mainline lanes, but has long since reopened.
At this time, the cause of the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
Due to limited information, the CHP continued to investigate the crash.
