Allyn Teen Involved in Suspected DUI Crash on State Route 302
Mason County, WA (October 23, 2023) On Friday evening, WSP is looking into a solo-car crash on SR 302 that injured and hospitalized a 17-year-old passenger.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the suspected DUI crash happened around 10:25 p.m. on State Route 302 in Mason County, south of Belfair.
Reports say that an 18-year-old man from Allyn, Mason County was recklessly driving east on SR302 when the vehicle he is driving left the road and collided with a tree.
Medics say that a 17-year-old male passenger from Lakebay, Pierce County was transported to St. Michael Medical Center in Silverdale.
Authorities say that the Allyn teen is facing a vehicular assault charge and is suspected of driving under the influence. Officials say that the driver escaped injury.
