Injuries Reported in San Antonio Auto Accident on 3800 Belgium Lane
SAN ANTONIO, TX (May 12, 2024) – Saturday morning, a disastrous single-vehicle crash on 3800 Belgium Lane injured 2 people.
The incident happened at about 12:30 a.m. in the 3800 block of Belgium Lane.
According to reports, a black Nissan Altima was driving down Belgium Lane at a high rate of speed before it rammed into a boulder at the end of the road and caught fire.
Then, passersby transported the driver and passenger out of the vehicle before the blaze.
Upon officers’ arrival, they spotted shell casings at the scene.
Although no one was struck by gunfire, authorities are uncertain of the origin of the shell casings found at the scene.
The victims, a 36-year-old man, and a 20-year-old woman, sustained critical injuries and were rushed to a nearby hospital. The investigation into the crash is currently underway, according to SAPD.
