Disastrous Rollover Crash on Loop 20 and McPherson Road Injures 2 [Laredo, TX]

2 People Hurt in Laredo Auto Accident on Loop 20 and McPherson Road

LAREDO, TX (May 23, 2024) – Wednesday afternoon, a disastrous rollover crash on Loop 20 and McPherson Road injured two people.

The incident started when a trooper noticed multiple undocumented individuals getting into a Hyundai at around 4:00 p.m. near Father McNaboe Park. Then, officers started a chase down Loop 20 and McPherson.

According to the Texas DPS, a border patrol vehicle collided with a Chevrolet Cruiser for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, responders transported a Border Patrol agent and a 36-year-old male to Doctors Hospital, both in stable condition.

Furthermore, officers said that three migrants were detained as well as the driver of the Hyundai.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the Texas DPS continued to investigate the crash.
